BRIEF
The challenge here is to design an app for a small screen, like that of an Apple Watch, by figuring out how to use limited space and what buttons and content are important enough to take up valuable real estate on the screen.
Rationale
I chose to create an app designed to track listening activity and deliver a Spotify Wrapped-esque experience to the user. I chose to only focus on total minutes listened and the user's favorite songs and artists over a certain period of time; that day, week, month, or over the course of a whole year. Color was a big part of this project, using it to add energy to the simplistic design and help it jump off the screen. I also utilized carousels for the artists and songs pages and horizontally scrolling type for the minutes listened screen to keep content at a readable size.
