Brief
Design a poster for Cleveland Metroparks' Tree Planting Saturdays, including essential information about the events, like a schedule, where each event will be held, and a description of the event. Along with a poster, design 10 hiking medallions to be collected each week; these should align aesthetically with the poster. Create three social media posts to advertise the event as well.
Rationale
I was inspired by the Squire's Castle in the North Chagrin Reservation to pursue a medieval theme for the event, appealing to families with children and young adults. The medallions are illustrated in the style of medieval woodblock prints and showcase different animals found in Ohio's Metroparks, along with an event kick-off pin and an event finale pin. The finale pin doubles down on the medieval pin with a knight's helmet. Each social media post also emulates the medieval theme to catch the audience's attention and build interest.
